Sukkot Ritual and Shabbat Potluck with Rabbi Hanan
Saturday Oct. 15, 2011 11am
Rabbi Hanan and Pati invite you their garden for Rabbi Hanan’s favorite holiday. We will have a Sukkot service with music and a kosher potluck. Bring a fruit or veggie to help decorate the Sukkah.
Ancient wisdom holds that the High Holy Days were especially important in as much as they were preparatory for the most Holy of times, Sukkot. Come find out why this multifaceted holiday of Harvest, Booths, and thinning of the veils between the Worlds is so important.
Food customs of the Rabbi's house are no red meat or shellfish; fish with fins and scales ok; chicken is ok if eco-kosher (freerange with no hormones or antibiotics).
