Sunday February 5th 2:45-4:45 pm
Washington Park Community Center
2025 Washington Street Eugene
Please come join us to honor the anniversary of the passing of Rabbi Hanan, Ad Olam’s founder and teacher. We will share music, stories, memories, dance, and schmooze. Bring a nosh to share if you choose. A Yahrzeit is a time to look backward while looking forward. In remembering Rabbi Hanan, we can his bring the spirit and traditions into the present and into the future.
All are welcome. If you haven’t met Rabbi Hanan come meet him now, at least in spirit as we share our memories. Rob Tobias, Aruna Beth Rose, Emily Fox and cantor Yosi Weintraub will share some of Hanan's favorite songs. Jordan will share some of his writings, and you will share your memories.
The event is free, donations are welcome to help pay for the space. Bring "Biblically Kosher" food (no pork or shellfish).
Here are some YouTube links of Hanan for you to enjoy.
