Ad Olam - Synagogue Without Walls

Ad Olam Synagogue Without Walls is an Outreach and Inreach program to Jews and non-Jews alike who want to connect with and learn about Jewish spirit and traditions. Rabbi Hanan Sills, the founder of Ad Olam and the Joys of Jewishing, with his rabbi's bag in hand, brings the Spirit of Jewish Wellness and Renewal into the community. His mission is "nothing less than the mitzvah of reviving the home as the center of Jewish life, which it was for millennia."

  • Outreach - Holiday celebrations, community and life cycle events including High Holy Day Services, Pesach Seder, Shabbat Services and public lectures.

  • Inreach - Home centered programs including Shabbat Shalom in the Home, annual holy days home observances, baby namings, home dedications, classes, tutoring, Jewish films, Pastoral Counseling services, and teen mentoring.

  • Rabbi Hanan is also available by appointment, as his health allows, for personal or family counseling, mentoring and "Coming-Home to Judaism"sessions.

Ad-Olam Mission Statement

Ad-Olam is a religious and educational outreach program to Jews and non-Jews alike who want to connect with and learn about Jewish spirit and traditions. We conduct special holiday observances (such as High Holy Day Services, Pesach Seder etc.) in public venues as well as offering various classes and special Shabbat services. In addition, Rabbi Hanan also goes from home to home with his rabbi's bag in the manner of the itinerant rabbi in pre-Holocaust Europe or the old-style family physician making house calls to homes...to help facilitate Sabbath eve home ceremonies, annual and life cycle events and to bring the spirit of Jewish Wellness and Renewal into your homes.

The Rabbi is also available to provide tutorial, mentorship for teens and Pastoral Counseling services.

Officers: Dr. Jordan Michels, Denise Goldfarb, Andrea Coles-Bjerre

Others: Hanan Meiser, Barbara Master, Chico Schwall, Janice Medvin, Ken Rothman, Rabbi Hanan Sills
