The Heart Of Shabbat Torah

Saturday Morning Services

Saturday - March 22nd
Saturday - April 12th Shabbat HaGadol
Saturday - May 17th

Our goal is create together a Shabbos filled with Joy, music, and meaning and to make these services accessible to people of any background. These are the last ones before summer.

The services are filled with spirit music, meditation, poetry, and story with Rabbi Hanan, Jordan, and musicians. Previous services were a great success, moving lots of energy and really opening up the heart. All the elements of the traditional service are represented.

Schedule

Shabbat

  • 11:00-11:30 - Silent Meditation (optional)

  • 11:40-12:30 - Service

In our Essence Of Shabbos services we have stripped down the traditional text to its skeleton to deepen our understanding and devotion of the prayers. All Hebrew prayers are translated and also transliterated to make them accessible to all. The service is a short and spirit-filled service of music, meditation, movement, poetry, and story. The last service was a great success, moving lots of energy and really opening up the heart.

  • 12:30 - 1:30 Potluck (Vegetarian)

Costs

Though there are no charges for any of these Shabbat services or events, we do request a voluntary contribution of $2-$7 per service to help cover the cost of the room, supply and copy costs.
