The High Holy Days initiate
the turning inward
period of fall-winter. Our tradition
contains a recipe which helps us
look at our place in the
turning of the seasons.

Rosh HashanahThe Jewish New Year Sept. 12th-13th, 2007 |
Yom Kippur
The Day of Atonement Sept. 21st-22nd, 2007 |
Come share the spirit and wisdom of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. These Holy Days are a time of prayer, music, reflection and learning, a time when the veils between the worlds thins. These services are liberal, renewal, feminist, and inclusive in orientation; yet draw from traditional and Hassidic sources. All are welcome to come to any or all of the services.

Donations
All are welcome to participate. We do not charge or sell tickets for the High Holy Days, but rather request a tax deductible $25 donation per adult for each of the four main services (2 morning and 2 evening), or an appropriate amount based on your financial situation. Mail-back cards and envelopes are available from Rabbit Hanan and were included in the Ad Olam mailing for those who do not wish to carry money during the High Holy Days. Donations can also be made at the door. Make checks out to Ad Olam. Thank you for supporting the work of Ad Olam.
The greatest portion of money goes to support the creation and implementation of these High Holyday Services. Our combined collaborative efforts make these services possible.
We also have a real need for volunteers for these services and for other events through the year. Let us know what your interest and talents are on the mail back form. This is especially important if you are unable to contribute financially
Childcare
Parents are asked to share co-oping childcare during High Holy Day services. Regretfully, official childcare is not provided. Snacks and juice will be provided and a room at Unity will be available for use by parents.
