Accessible, Inclusive, Uplifting

Our services are Renewal, accessible, and inclusive — in the tradition of our teacher Rabbi Hanan Sills z”l.

We draw from traditional, mystical, and contemporary sources. We invite new interpretations, spontaneous expressions, and powerful music to awaken the deeper truths. Ad Olam High Holy Days are uplifting, life‑affirming, and transformative — all are welcome, whatever your background.

Please Note All events are subject to change due to several factors — check back here before events. Please don’t attend if you have a fever, cough, or other symptoms.

Suggested Donation $30 and up for Rosh Hashanah, and $30 and up for each Yom Kippur day. Donations may be made online or at the services.

No One Turned Away Funds should never be a barrier to joining us for the Holy Days — please come regardless.

Erev Rosh Hashanah (Evening)

Unity of the Valley · 3912 Dillard Road, Eugene

7:00 pm Service
8:45 pm Kiddish (Challah, Apples and Honey)

Welcome the New Year with uplifting songs, prayer, and community. Service will be led by Jordan Michels & Aruna Beth Miriam Rose. Jordan will offer a short meaningful teaching. Music with Aruna Beth Miriam Rose & others. Jonathan Schwartz will be blowing the shofar. Robin Marks-Fife, Annie Greenberg and others with be providing their wonderful apples & honey. We will also have Challah and wine/grape juice from Jordan's grapes.

Ad Olam High Holy Days are uplifting, life-affirming, and transformative. Accessible and welcoming, whatever your background.

Jordan will offer a brief reflection on Odysseus, the Law of Zeus, and the Golden Rule — and what these ancient teachings may offer us in meeting today’s challenges.

Yom Kippur Morning & Memorial Service

Unity of the Valley

Please join us for a soulful, joyful, contemplative, and musical celebration. A Yizkor service will be incorporated into the center of the service.

On this Day of A tune ment, may we each find the space to real align our neshama/souls with our highest and most loving potential — gracing ourselves, each other, and our world with compassion, forgiveness, and renewal.

Following the morning service, we hope to offer some Playshops — stay posted.

Ne’ilah & Break-the-Fast Potluck

Jordan’s home

A light musical closing service followed by a community potluck. Neilah (Closing) Service will begin at 5pm.

Service will be followed by a break-the-fast (potluck – biblically kosher: no pork or shellfish, please). Juice, wine, and challah provided.
