Your response to our GBF appeal last fall succeeded in making a big difference for Rabbi Hanan & Ad Olam's program, by providing for much needed bare bones assistance in the areas of part-time clerical help; updating of our data base; etc.
We want to exceed last year's response, so that we can realize the rest of the dream "to improve and expand our program & to grow our branches" with new programs such as the Jewish Film Series, Lox and Bagel Brunch, New Classes, and greater outreach to the community. We also want to support our Rabbi, by freeing him up to do what he does best, reaching and teaching.
Rabbi Hanan does not receive any salary for his work in Ad Olam. He contracts with Ad Olam for only two annual events, the High Holydays & Pesach. Currently, there is no funding for any additional program or financial support for the Rabbi or any clerical/administrative assistance. The Suggested donations for High Holydays & Pesach, just covers our financial commitments for those events.
If your feel that Rabbi Hanan and Ad Olam make a difference and deserve our support in realizing these other dreams, please respond now. Ad Olam's board also will be pursuing outside Grants to help support our work. Also, if you know of anyone anywhere who might want to help support Ad Olam's work in the world, please put us in contact with them. All donations to Ad Olam are tax deductible, as we are a 501c3 non-profit entity.
